This where you’ll be able to find the Isle of Man’s only dedicated sunblind and curtain showroom online. We are so happy to have made this big step that will help us provide more people with high-quality blinds, curtains, and much more across the Isle of Man. At Talbot & Son, we are a business that has come from humble beginnings, which is why we are so proud that we have reached where we are today. It’s an interesting story, this is where it began:
Humble Beginnings
Talbot & Son began life trading out of a garage in the 1970s. What is the reason we’ve grown? We focused our business on growing by providing excellent services and high-quality products. Through training, both off-island and on, qualified design staff site visits to factories which help us to understand the processes used, we are able to use our knowledge to give you the excellent service you are entitled to. This has led to us owning and operating the Isle of Man’s only dedicated sunblind and curtain showroom. Although we’ve been trading for nearly 50 years, we have no intention of slowing down.
An Award-Winning Showroom
A little while after we moved out of the garage, we realised we wanted a place to showcase our unique and beautiful products. Having been in the business for so long, we understand that buying blinds or curtains for your home is a big decision. Before making that decision, we would always want to see what we’re buying. This is where the idea to open our showroom came from;
Over time it has grown and become so much more than we ever thought possible. It is even now award-winning! You can find our award-winning showroom at 61-62 Derby Square, in Douglas. That is where you can view the wide range of exceptional products we offer.
